Around the House

So Ryan has been getting into so much stuff lately, sometimes I wonder what happened to my quiet, mellow little boy :) But it really is fun to see him explore and find new things to entertain himself.

He recently got his first "big boy" bath and loved it.

Gotta show his cute little bootie.

Also training for being a little boy by playing in the dirt...

And he found a way to take his sippie with him where ever he goes.

Not Me Monday

No matter what anyone tell you, NONE of this happened in the Hanke household...

No Ryan did NOT start crawling, yes finally! He is NOT all over the house now and does NOT seem so much happier to be able to get around. And no I did NOT post a video of him at the end of this blog...

And no Ryan is NOT eating some solids foods and he is NOT a picky eater either!

Some of the things he does NOT like are: toasted bread, bananas, cheese, grapes, and most all his baby food.

A trip down memory lane...

We recently received some pictures that were taken of Ryan last December. I decided to put them up to some just how much he's grown in the last 8 months. I honestly can hardly remember him being this small; my how time flies!

Fourth of July

This fourth of July was a busy one! We first went to Calvary's picnic and hung out with some friends that we don't get to see too often. Then headed to my brother's house to go swimming cuz it was quite hot to say the least. After cooling off we came back to Redlands to enjoy some fireworks at a friends house. It was a lot of fun till the fireworks started...Ryan, to say the least, did not like them. And it probably didn't help that we were right by where they set them off, so it was pretty loud! None-the-less he did calm down somewhat so we watched them for a little and left a little early. All in all though it was a great day, busy, but great.
